Football v futsal

Use this resource with the Saved by football lesson from our Sport topic.

Because of the shortage of football fields, many children in South America play a version of football called futsal. It is played on a small hard pitch with 5 players on each team. Games are 20 minutes each way and the pace is very fast. Many Brazilian football players started their careers playing futsal. Challenge the children to find out about how futsal is played and ask them to prepare a factsheet. Use this 'Football v Futsal' resource as a prompt.
