Use this text-only ebook to explore the language of The Christmas Wish and examine some of the author’s writing techniques.

The text-only version is useful to help children understand that their imagination conjures up images of the characters and places (this of course can also be done by reading or retelling the story). Let the children discuss what the characters will look like. Are they young or old; tall or small; ragged or more sophisticated, etc.
