Assembly time – Legends!

The excitement and adventure you feel while immersing yourself in myths and legends just doesn’t happen in this day and age – or does it?

Start your assembly by talking about some of the British myths and legends that you have been looking at as part of your investigations into our mystical past, or ask the children to read the story of George and the Dragon on our ‘Little legends’ resource sheets. The little legends support our ‘Closing thought’ resource sheet; ‘Arthur and the Sword in the Stone’ and ‘Robin Hood and the Golden Arrow’ are also included.
