Use this resource with the Underwater art lesson from our Sea topic.

Sewing with embroidery silks onto felt gives great results for beginner sewing projects. Use the techniques demonstrated to create simple shell cushions. Demonstrate how to do some of the stitches and let the children practise on a scrap of felt before creating a shell using the ‘Shell template’ resource sheet.
