Use this resource on its own or with the Underwater art lesson from our Sea topic.
Use this shell template for simple sewing projects. Children can cut out the shell shape, draw round it onto felt with a felt-tipped pen and cut out their felt shell for sewing. Before the children begin, show them how to do some of the stitches on the ‘Stitch patterns’ resource sheet and let them try out and practise the stitches on a scrap of felt.
